About Bluejacket Robotics
We are a Robotics Team open to students grades 7th-12th who attend or reside in the I.S.D. 911 (Cambridge- Isanti). We welcome all students and any adults who would like to mentor to contact us anytime.
We are part of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). FRC's mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
Build Season is the First Saturday of January and goes for 6 weeks. We will have year round events to participate in.

MORE THAN JUST ROBOTS
THE
TEAM
Under strict rules, limited resources, and the guidance of volunteer mentors, our team of students have just six weeks to build and program robots to perform challenging tasks against a field of competitors. They must also raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and perform community outreach. In addition to learning valuable STEM and life skills, participants are eligible to apply for $70 million in college scholarships.
WHAT STUDENTS SAY
Jake, Student
Robotics gave me the chance to find out what I want to do in my future by mentors teaching me everything they know in their different work fields .
Lydia, Student
I joined because I was curious. I stayed because I found a family.
Zach, Student
I joined because robotics can lead me down the path for engineering, great friendships and its fun to be a part of such a creative team.
